Pirates 3. I really love Pirates 3. Really. There was bouncing and squeaking, I loved it that much. I was actually kind of impressed with the restraint they showed in not massively signposting some things which were significant, but not plot-crucial. I do not go into details as I try to avoid spoilage. After the Spiderman debacle I was a little cautious about Pirates, but my faith has been restored.

Ceilidh. This primarily involves Scottish country dances. You may have vague memories of Social Dancing. You remember. Skipping in big circles and trying to not actually hold hands with your partner in a school hall redolent with dust and socks. It turns out that once you have a proper band, and a bunch of people who are there voluntarily, it is immensely fun. Especially when most of the dancers are a bit pissed and easily confused. :o)

Birthdays. It turns out my workmates tend to go a bit overboard with cake. There has been untold quantities of food at work in the last week or so. Happy belly!

Tell me something fun you did in the last couple of weeks?

*is super envious of cake and dancing!!*

*wracks her brain trying to think of fun things*

I don't know if I've done things I'd describe as fun rather than good or entertaining or sweat-tastically worthwhile:)

Go forth and do fun stuff. I command thee!

The dancing actually qualified as both fun AND sweat-tastic. 'Twas way hot racing around that hall!

I sat on a couch with a lovely lady, consumed half a bottle of chardonnay and half a bottle of cabernet merlot, in that order, ate mini-eclairs and chocolate, talked of many things, and occasionally alarmed a nearby lad by introducing him to ideas found on teh intarweb which he had not yet come across.

Tra-la, tra-lay.

Glad you enjoyed Pirates - for me it was very fun at the time, but a few days after I thought of it as "meh".

Good company, booze, chocolate and scaring people. There can be few better ways than this of spending time.

Pirates! Yar!

one of my workmates is very-very cakey. today she brought in a mud-cake (ohmigosh, it was one of those ones that you suck instead of chew - divine!) that was covered in green icing and shaped like a turtle. she's been bringing in about one a week (sometimes for bdays, sometimes just cos).

hmm.. good thing/fun thing... i had work drinks and played inflatable 10-pin bowls?

Mudcake Turtle. I am incredibly jealous. *Covets Mudcake Turtle*

Inflatable 10 pin bowling sounds MOST entertaining. Especially when combined with drink. :o)

the photos of one of my workmates bowling is hil-arious. mainly cos she was holding the ball with both hands, had her skirt hiked up around her knees and was all squatted over. she TOTALLY looks like she's laying a very round egg!
