Operation: Spring Clean Life
To be honest, it's progressing a lot slower than I intended. I've been home nearly two weeks, and I had expected to have done a lot more than I have. So I'm going to fall back on telling you what I ought to get done, so I'll feel embarrassed if I come back and haven't done it. The tricks you sometimes have to play on your brain. *headshake*
-Arch. Society - post cheque for excursion next weekend and sign up for course (the Uni one was full)
-Call Air New Zealand
-Finish putting winter clothes away
- Finish cleaning room (to include dust and vac)
-Ditto front room
-Thoroughly scrub bathroom
- Ditto kitchen
- Poison all the damn convolvulus
- Finish weeding back garden
- Start doing stretches every morning (Hell, even just most mornings)
- Pack up whatever I'm doing at a reasonable hour and meditate for a bit before bed
- Leave the house occasionally
That seems like enough to be getting on with!
While I was in Greece I stumbled upon a Better Class of tourist junk. There is an outfit producing modern interpretations of traditional bronze statues and I have to confess, I rather fell in love with their Artemis. I love how much movement and grace they managed to get into such simple lines. there is some engraved detail that showsup much better if you click through to the larger version.

And for those who are curious, a most unflattering picture of me, showcasing the blue streak.
