Well hello there. Thanks for stopping by. Can I offer you a virtual cup of tea?

I started this journal as a combination of communicating with friends back home in NZ, and procrastinating over packing up to move house. Oh the motivating power of procrastination. I was recently startled to realise that that was over two years ago, and figured I should update my totally non-informative bio. Not that I plan to make it much more informative, but at least it's new.

Most of what you will find here is me rambling about stuff. I also talk a lot about taking photographs, books I have read, films I have seen and places I have been. Oh, and food. Mmmmm, foooood. Occasionally I have thinky thoughts, but I'm more likely to have a meme.
