Go-karting is teh roxxor

Our company has off-site "state of the company" type meetings twice a year. Afterwards we do something entertaining. Last time it was a quiz competition to work out as many types of booze as you could based on small parts of the label. (It was a lot better than it sounds. Also? I was disturbingly good at it.)

This time (have you worked it out yet?) we went go-karting. Fantastic. I didn't do too badly - 6th of 11, but no one had a hope of beating the top 2 - they were much faster than anyone else. Of course, it would have been one lower if I hadn't accidentally spun Kirsty out early in the race, from which she never really recovered her position. (Yes, I said accidentally. I was quite surprised when I came back round and she gave me the finger - I didn't even realise I'd done it. And let's face it, if I was going to do it on purpose, it would have been to the boss.)

Anyway, masses of fun. Go do it some time. Even the girl who got lapped half a dozen times by everone had a great time. There's something really entertaining about sliding through corners, especially once you get the knack of doing it on purpose. And then there are the opportunities to take out the opposition...
