Even less fit than I thought. Damn.
Jul. 9th, 2008 08:14 pmI mean, I was well aware that I'm pretty unhealthy, but I went for a swim tonight and managed all of 15 minutes in the pool before having to call it. My arms were sore after about 4 lengths. Suck. I'm going to have to keep doing this.
In other news, on Monday I got to attend the big launch event I've been working my arse off for. It rules. The classroom type stuff was all stand up and interactive with plenty of scope for larking about a bit, and the drive sessions were cool fun. The new Mazda 2 is 200kg lighter and that baby can move. Got driven around a test track in an MX5 by a professional driver - I think she might have been related to the Stig. Then we got to drive the Mazda 6 and the RX8 around Millbrook's hill track (which is where they filmed the famous Aston Marton roll in the last James Bond film). I actually like the Mazda 6 better to drive, although that might have been because my boss was in the back seat when I was driving the RX8. No pressure!
Now I have to bully sales people onto what is basically an intro level course, which they have to do, even if they don't really need it. Can you guess how well that's going?
