My little brother just got engaged.

I'm really pleased for him, and quite impressed by his guts - it wasn't something they'd discussed, he just surprised her with it. (Picnic dinner on the beach at Stanley Park in Vancouver, for those who like to know that sort of thing.) She's really lovely, if a bit mad, but that suits him down to the ground.

So, not having been planned it's all a bit up in the air, but it sounds like I'll be doing another Wedding Trip back home, probably summer 10/11.

Also, I know I owe you money. I have been snowed under, but the last essay went in this afternoon (no, really) and I have just discovered my almighty to do list, one part of which says send money to you. In giant spangly letters. Sorry that I suck in many and various ways <3

heh when I heard my sis had got engaged, I screeched down the office. Retrospectively, it was a little embarrassing;p Yay for another trip home!
